PARAG
- ABOUT PARAG
“I remember i realized that fashion is more then clothing.
It’s about the concept around it. During my work i learned
more about technique in moulage. My plans are not always
easy, but i keep it sexy and simple. A woman doens’t need too
much to make her heel good, sexy and independent. It’s not
about what you wear, it’s about how you wear it!”

The eye for style behind PARAG is Sunny Parag, who’s
borned in The Netherlands to a South-American father
and mother. He studied at the High School Fashion &
Commercial and at the College of Fashion & Design.
I’ts the way how he sees life, that makes him so
creative in his work.
Just like fashion, people also change, by the way of
living and work. Sunny create his own concepts for
each collection.
PARAG stands for independence. Characteristic of
PARAG is the womanly, refined, simple but also very
feminine sexy designs.
Fashion critics noted that his work moved away from
traditional forms of prêt-a-porter and becoming much
more like that associated with haute couture,
attracting a younger, more fashion aware customer
than that of long established Dutch fashion houses.
Couture garments traditionally feature the finest
quality materials, workmanship and techniques, Parag
used these techniques on a smaller scale and
relaunched himself and his fashion live on the Dutch
fashion scene. He has been quoted as identifying his
love of simple and femininity as central to his
creations – "My passion for fashion is to seduce".
Sunny did a lot of freelance projects to take the
details into his fingers. He also did a lot of
research on design, moulage technique, pattern design
and art.
”My inspiration comes from music. “play me a record,
and  i put you in a new box!”

A great source of inspiration to the designer has
been his mother, art creators like Andy Warhol, Dali
and olso music made the inspiration for him..Through
his freelance-projects, he made his own style. It’s
simple, with an attitude.
Easy to hate, difficult to love - S.Parag
